The Javelin is the most innovative drill extension on the market. Manufactured for the professional, The Javelin is fully adjustable and extendable, designed to get you out of any drilling extension jam. It's simple. You just cut a 3/8 rod the lenght of extension you need.
The Kit includes:
The hole saw arbor and pilot bit
The 1/4" hex arbor
The connector
3/8-16 x 1 1/4" threaded rod
3/8-16 x 6" threaded rod
3/8-16 jam nuts (4)

There are three different ways to configure the arbors
1. This one-piece arbor will fit in a 1/2" chuck. The hole saw arbor can hold any size hole saw to 1 1/8". You need an adapter (we sell one on this web site) for larger hole saws. The 1/4" hex arbor can hold any tool with a 1/4" hex shank. Such as spade bits, screw tip holders, drill bits, etc.
2. Screw the 3/8-16 x 1 1/4" threaded rod into connector. Next, screw the arbor into the threaded rod. Now you have an arbor that fits in a 3/8 chuck and adds a 2" extension to the arbor.
3. This configuration shows how to extend the arbors using the 3/8-16 x 6" threaded rod. Screw the jam nuts onto the threaded rod (two on each side), then screw the rod into the connector and the arbor onto the rod. Then tighten the jam nuts against the connector and arbor.
Now you can cut any length 3/8 rod for the extension you need.
It's even extendable! Add short lengths of rod together with rod couplings for the tight areas.
You can also add strength to the threaded rod by putting the rod through a piece of 1/2" emt or pipe.
